I seem to rememeber saying to alot of Wire fans that 'we'll see you on the 2nd of october'...

Even weatherspoons was £3 a pint, and they ran out of all the half decent real ales early on. I dont even want to know how much I spent this weekend.

My cousin sneeked a can of Fosters into the ground, then asked for a plastic cup at the bar poured the Fosters into it at his seat, nobody was none the wiser. Smart.

It's not an argument that can ever be won, and it doesn't really matter, but you're basing it on how many Wire fans you saw in the pub and around the ground???! I walked around the Leeds end and didn't see a single Wire fan funnily enough! All I know is there were a lot less neutrals than previous years because the majority of tickets were taken by the 2 teams, which is a great effort.

The most important thing is that Wire won, much as it disappoints me. I couldn't care less who had more fans there.

Saw at least 100 Leeds fans around our block, in fact I went the bog and seemed to be surrounded by them though I was in the wrong end.

Note to self...must try harder to be noticed next time... I agree though that it was definately better to see fans of the opposition at the opposite end rather than the empty seats from last year.

It was hard to tell which was which because of the colour clash. The Leeds flags had primrose yellow rather than amber!

Had it been Wigan fans making the mass exit as the Leeds fans did it would have been headlines on Sky Sports News.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I thought it a total lack of respect for their team. I felt sorry for the Leeds players after they had collected their medals as they had nowhere to go!! I was willing them to come to the Warrington end where I know they'd have been given a good reception in acknowledgement of their efforts!
