dont think the buses were cancelled..but i agree with the poster who said report it..trouble is nowt gets done...if you travel by taxi ask the driver for a receipt..if you do get ripped off you have it has proof..its got that bad i dont use the company i work for

Everyone' getting angry with the council but surely it isn't their fault. The central government have taken control over the salt stocks. Even if WBC wanted to do something they'd need permission from Lord Adonis himself don't they ?

Why don't you post that comment on the Guardian website or the Warrington Borough Council website? I don't know how a few RLFANS posters clearing the snow from outside their house is going to get the backs roads clear.

I have no road outside where I live, so if you think I'm walking outside and clearing up the communal car park, then you can get ed.

The wagon couldn't get into the collection point on the car park though. Had to wait for someone from 'streetscene' to come and unlock the height restrictor bar. The road was like an ice rink yet no probs for the bin wagon. Helpful binman assisted me in emptying my boot of putrifying waste products.

yes i know but people being ripped off by certain taxi drivers happens all year round....and nowt still gets done...

give me strength what did they do before wheelie bins and the modern wagons and pick ups at the gate. thay dont half have it hard, get the violin out in a mo

I remember when they used to carry galvanised steel bins from the back garden, empty them and put the back.

Aye, and the majority of those lads are now in retirement with knackered backs and dodgy shoulders....But as long as we get our precious bins emptied, hey fellas???....

well thats all i want is my bins emptied...its not too much to ask

.... They will be emptied, but as is being pointed out by those sensible enough not to just go off on one for the sake of it, the present conditions are dangerous, not just for the refuse collectors and their wagons, but also for the general public who may be around when bins are being moved.

If you are that desparate for a bit of rubbish to be shifted, I suggest you do it yourself.
