| Quote: So Grose but So Good "Wigan 24 Wire 22. We will be winning for most of the match, and then a flukey bounce will allow Tomkins in for a try in the last min. Richards then kicks the winner to break Warrington hearts AGAIN.
All our scripts are pre written.'"
The most likely outcome.
Until we learn how to close games out like the weekend just gone we will continue with the barren years
ISWT however

| Andy Coley to offload to Briers, Gleeson to contract serious Swine Flu just before KO, peanut head Leuluai to hurt knee doing fancy side step from dummy half, Noble to choke on his gum when Paleasina refuses to come off despite clearly needing oxygen, Fielden to square up to someone and end up right back on his backside (again), Anus Roberts to overrun a wild offload from Gleeson which would have put them right back in the game, Tomkins to give that 'tough guy' face and cop a sinbinning, Richards to do that Superman jump ingoal over Riley but end up landing firmly on an advertising board for Stobart resulting in squashed nads, O'loughlin to spit dummy and start pulling his own gay hair like a little girl and finally, and perhaps most importantly, a sea of Cherry and White departing the Stands early doors complimented by a crazed lady going ape shat like that woman caught on sky against Saints a couple of years back.
Come on you Wire!
From the heart,
Istilldontbelieveit!

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

4729_1341555985.jpg I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_4729.jpg |

| As a Maine Road veteran I dread semi's.
A few weeks ago we had gloaters on here mocking Wigan's injury list and the Hock thing, and what happens? They are bang in form.
So for me praying for a Wire win expecting a Wigan win.
For what its worth I am a cr*p tipster.

| I'm praying Wire will win but if you expect the worst you'll never be disappointed.
I think it'll be 4 points either way, 24-20

| I await the performance of his life from the one and only Lee Briers. Could be his last chance to reach a major final and he will play accordingly.

| Really feeling a bit ill on this one. The nereves are killing me.
A few weeks ago I would have said Wire win, but now I think it may be too close to call.
If it comes to a battle of the forwards, we may just edge it. If it comes down to the backs then the fellas will really have to work hard to outsmart the oncoming onslaught.
I reckon a 27-24 win for the wire, but I'm feeling nauseous just thinking of it.
Lets hope it stays the classic were hoping it to be.

17064.jpg How can I miss you, if you won't go away????:17064.jpg |

| I expect a very close match....lead swapping hands a few times...not a huge amount of points...pretty similar to the game at the HJ this season.
Unfortunately, I just have that dreadful feeling (probably caused by being a Wire fan for over 30 years and being used to getting done over by Wigan!!) that Wigan will beat us....18-14-ish....
