He made a few uncharacteristic errors as did a few others. He big rather than fat.

Gave too much ball away and penalties (there were high shots missed by ref too). Dragons kicking game better than ours.
Mostly a very poor performance with ball in hand, and only showed glimpses of what we can do. Two points thrown away.

Best team won. Far too many errors with dire passes (the one that cannot be named), knock-ons and penalties. Game was there for the winning with 3 minutes to go and we still bombed both sets of 6 with handling errors (usual suspects)

Nice to see some fight in the squad but back to the training ground I think for skills work.

Also some players look like they are carrying a bit of timber.

How we respond on Thursday will give us a good idea of where we're at. We have just played our poorest for a long time and nearly won away at Catalans outscoring them on the try front. Id hope we cannot play that badly again this season. Atkins could do with being dropped and a couple of others shouldnt feel safe....including Jack Hughes.

First half from us was appalling. Handling errors everywhere,and at least 3 chances blown. Not surprising really when you consider the stupid travel arrangements. Early morning flight,airport hassle etc. How did anyone expected them to perform when they will obviously be tired. Second half was much improved, but Chris Hill is giving too many penalties away. Sam rat boy has taught his new team mates how to play for penalties and con the ref. Despite all that, an appalling decision by Hicks towards the end gave a penalty to Dragons for a ball strip near their own line. Even the commentators remarked that"it was a brave decision". That turned the result for me. A scrum near their line might have seen us steal the points.

Tasi, King & Lineham can all sit Thursday out for me, and the rest get a barely deserved stay of execution.

Personally, I'm praying daily for an imminent and problem free return for Ben Currie - still our only forward with the X factor and skills to put most of the backline to shame.

Don’t buy this tired business.Not as though they’re up at 5 everyday working on a production line.Running around and in the gym most days is a job most of would love so this tired business I don’t get.Just an error strewn bad day at the office and despite playing poorly could have easily snatched it at the end.
