There is a very high probability that neither Jake Mamo nor Ryan Atkins will make the 17 on Saturday. So I am not quite sure why a mediocre can't quite remember his name player would be of any benefit whatsoever? As it stands we still have quality not even making the matchday squad.

Have you considered the possibility of injury? We definitely need back-up for the half-back positions.

A short term injury in the half back department would be dealt with, whether it involve Livett or moving Ratchford for a couple of games. Long term injury then yes they would probably look to recruit as and when it happens. I am sure they would already have gathered ideas of targets if required in the event. But like many have already said, who of quality would actually want to come knowing it is a short term fix until Widdop arrives next season?...….unless of course it is actually Widdop that arrives earlier than planned?
