I seriously doubt that Brown, or any regular super league player, makes an average of 12 errors per game.

If you had 6 months to recruit someone then Brown would be a fairly underwhelming signing, but given the circumstances I think you've done very well to be honest.

This really is the nub of this debate.
The other issue that keeps being forgotten is that we have injuries at the start of the season. We would be taking a huge risk starting a season without getting an extra half back. Just to clarify to those who don't seem to listen (or read anything before making a comment) ... we have no Patton or Ratchford at the start of the season.

Matty Russell at stand off is the alternative.

If we are playing "name a random player to play half back" then that is a possibility...but in the real world I can't see any basis for it, so perhaps you could explain your thinking?
