Watched the match back when I got in and I'm sure I remember him being there before the game at least. Wasn't he waffling on about Salford having a 50/50 chance of making the super eights before their points deduction but now, if they win this weekend, they'll have a 50/50 chance of making the super eights!

| Russell isn't brilliant under the high ball at the moment. As with lots of things its confidence. The interchange of positions between him and Russell is a real top class move. Kev is playing really well at the moment in both attack and defence. Long may it continue.

He was in the studio. He didn't think much of Wigan's attack.

| Just nipped to the paper shop in my 1989/90 Wire jersey for a can of Sprite and a copy of Naughty Housewives, only to be abused by Lord Lucan, who told me we'd only won because of Wigan's dreadful injury problems.
I'd got to the door, only to be met by Aung San Suu Kyi, who just shook her head and mouthed "lucky fxxxers".

| The only thing that I was disappointed by was the size of the crowd - less than 12000 for a night match vs Wiggin strikes me as pretty poor (maybe some of the Wiggin fans were iinjured?)

Unfortunately Thusdays seem to make a big difference. Postponed for one day I recekon would have added 2000 to the gate.

To be fair He's a great addition to the squad, but as prop forwards go he doesn't come across as the brightest of blokes.
So when he got a smack in the teeth a few weeks back and promptly stated "its a good job they are made of concrete" you'd think he'd start wearing a mouth guard....(as every pro should, to be honest)
I'm guessing if he continues to take the ball up in his rumbustious (great word) style, and without a mouth guard its going to be a case of third time not so lucky......

I'd get there at half time on a Thursday. Do they even let people in at half time?

Considering the weather, Thursday night, and it being on Sky I think we did well. Some might have gone away early for Bank holiday weekend too.
Only Wigan vs Widnes, and Leeds vs Warrington have been higher on a Thursday this year.
Big matches shouldn't be played on a Thursday, the clubs must miss out on thousands of pounds.

| Had the thug not bellowed into the players ear who was lying semi-conscious on the floor he may have got away with it.
