If he is on £120K then only £70K is counted against the cap.
If however he is on less than £100K then 50% is deductable against the cap.
So if he is on £80K then only £40K is counted against the cap.
Only one player per club is allowed, and they must have served 10 years at the club.'" your allowed more then one player, its just the totally money of the cap can only be £50k |

Highest paid player in Salfords history doesn't necessiarily mean he was offered mega bucks. I don't imagine Salford have ever operated at full salary cap, so he could have been offered £100k,which may be higher than any Salford player is on, but it would just put him in line with some of our players and below others.
