i may be wrong with this but i thought that the rfl helped out the london broncos as they were struggling off the field and cancelled some debts owed to them! Thats when they changed there names to quins!

wouldn't worry about it, there's plenty of longstanding rugby league speccies get that wrong about the broncos, quite a lot on purpose.

Don't worry, as said above, lots of people who were RL fans at the time still don't understand it. They seem to think that 'SL clubs voting between them with the backing of the RFL to allow the Broncos to continue as a SL club' somehow equals 'the RFL are corrupt and gave them loads of money'. To those with even half a brain, it obviously doesn't.
