Ballater Drive in Cinnamon Brow is possibly the worst road in Cinnamon Brow at the moment, genius place to put a collection point.
To be fair to the bin men though, a wagon was outside the Millhouse at 7.59am this morning!

dont think the buses were cancelled..but i agree with the poster who said report it..trouble is nowt gets done...if you travel by taxi ask the driver for a receipt..if you do get ripped off you have it has proof..its got that bad i dont use the company i work for |

Everyone' getting angry with the council but surely it isn't their fault. The central government have taken control over the salt stocks. Even if WBC wanted to do something they'd need permission from Lord Adonis himself don't they ?

Why don't you post that comment on the Guardian website or the Warrington Borough Council website? I don't know how a few RLFANS posters clearing the snow from outside their house is going to get the backs roads clear. 
I have no road outside where I live, so if you think I'm walking outside and clearing up the communal car park, then you can get ed. |

The wagon couldn't get into the collection point on the car park though. Had to wait for someone from 'streetscene' to come and unlock the height restrictor bar. The road was like an ice rink yet no probs for the bin wagon. Helpful binman assisted me in emptying my boot of putrifying waste products. |

Not sure if this has been covered already but every house in Warrington will have some form of collection.
Our kid drives a Bin Lorry and he assures me that if a lorry can't get to collect your bin then they go round in a van and will collect any black bin bags which are left out.
Even tho some roads seem quite clear the problems lies with pulling the bins across the snow.
Ok if you only have to do it once or twice but these lads empty around 2000 bins a day.
