To be fair, Sims got a good pass out to Toby King that could have brought a try, but it was ruled forward although it didn't look any worse than Cats had been getting away with all game. The youngsters & our new winger made a big contribution today i thought ,which must have been difficult with the short defensive line Cats were getting away with at every ptb.

I don't watch on sky very often but that cretin Stevo sounds more & more like an elderly relative you wouldn't want your friends to meet. He just gushes absolute rubbish. He was devasted when the Myler try wasn't given despite finding reasons to include so much as a broken finger nail to validate a try.

Quote: lefty goldblatt "

Ryan Bailey is just the World's biggest tool. I wouldn't mind, he's a good prop, but a walking bell end. We start conceding points, and he starts losing what brain cells he's got, and gifts Cats territory/possessionn/momentum, just so he can stamp his "authority" on the game.

'"

the thing is he picks on Éloi Pélissier who granted is also a mighty tool.......but is also the smallest man in the whole of France.........

you cant punch anyone anymore so just run in hard and put some big men on their backside........I thought his antics gave Catalan a massive boost.

but at least he did some minutes which is more than can be said of Cox.......what a a staggering drop in performances from him...

and agreed on everything else as usual lefty...

Forgot about Cox, biscuit.

As I said in May, re Cox. The new Danny Lima. Runs the ball in once, then spends the next 10 minutes with his hands on his knees, knackered. Wage theif.

I'm not at all surprised Sims is the top off loader.
A time for it too. Element of structure and surprise over predictable but hazardous.
What's his bust or break a line stat?

THAT try! Ratchford showing real leadership. I know traditionally props aren't supposed to need a brain but a couple of ours could have starred in The Wizard of Oz...Sims as the Tin man and Bailey as his understudy. But the main thing was the team showed character.
I have no issue with most of the penalties against us, but weren't Catalan doing the same things without punishment? AND does the ref mike have to be turned up quite so much?!

fantastic win with a very much under strength squad..glad penny was back with out pace in your team then those trys dont get scored..as for those idiots on sky there dis-like of us is so so clear..the myler no try was just embaressing, and the resulting penalty according to stevo was deserved..good job his mate saint eddie was at home..this season i put the game on as its just about to kick off to avoid the bilge that lot come out with...

How can it be a drop in performance from Cox when he has never performed for us? He has to be the worst prop in SL.

Average age of the team tonight was apparently just 22! Incredible result on the back of last weekend, the team we put out, the heat and the fact that we only travelled out this morning!

Didn't hear much about how under strength we were from them, then again we are not Wigan.

They don't mention Wigan bringing in a player like Frank-Paul Nuuausala, or that they can cope with injuries due to the strong youth system.

Didn't put over us having numbers 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 13, 14, 15, and 17 out, as well as squad players that are injured or have left.

When they did make an attempt to mention the missing, they kept missing out players including a big one in Clark.

Think they mentioned Catalan missing Carney and Taylor more.

I'm not that surprised, we could of had all the U19 squad playing and our missing first team squad would not get a mention, as I said we are not Wigan.

Yes, I'm aware of who it is, although from some of the posts on here most aren't.

Sims has done ok stats wise this season - 4th in squad for tackles, 5th for metres and top for offloads. Interestingly prior to today he'd only given away 9 penalties. Hill has given away 25.........liability that bloke........

This is just a hunch, but do you think it's possible that Sims has been asked to play like that, in order for us to jump up for a quick play the ball, to make use of our dummy half running...?
