| I'm gonna face some stick but here but there could be some movement to secure a prop and he could be here before the end of June , he is contracted until the end of 2014.
Moley has already tweeted about a 29 year old prop with talks of signing to Warrington. He is rarely wrong.
It fits in with with one prop who isn't playing in the best of form and is earning so much that I doubt any NRL club has enough in their cap to pay him this year. He's reportedly the biggest earning prop in the NRL of around Aus$500k per year.
Ben Hannant? He is currently out of favour at Broncos only getting selection to the bench at best and recently he's been playing for Ipswich Jets.
That's like Morley playing at Swinton when still at Warrington.
It was reported a couple of weeks ago that Broncos were looking for suitors to buy him.
If the £400k hole in our salary cap is true that probably means only Warrington could sign him without him having to take a huge pay cut.
Moley won't say who in his tweet.
I noticed this about Ben Hannant a couple of weeks back and I thought what if? Now I'm putting 2 and 2 together here with Moley.

| But surely it is better to weather the storm this year & bring on our own young forwards rather than giving another possible Aussie failure an expensive holiday at the clubs expense. We may not yet have the most talented young forwards but they are progressing steadily & at least put in the effort as they proudly wear a Wire shirt.

or maybe its better to strengthen in a position that we are looking poor in. Giving the younger forwards a player of real quality to learn off.
We dont have an enforcer in the front row. Obviously we hoped it would be Asotasi, but he is turning out to be a dud, as watchers of the NRL told us he would be.
I'm all for giving youth a chance, but there has to be a balance.

| Yes ,i must agree we do need an enforcer but is Ben Hannant the man for the job. I don't know anything about him so i'm just asking the question. The lack of an enforcer was evident in the game at the HJ against Saints where we were bullied in the forwards. The problem with hoping for Southern Hemisphere players to turn out to be enforcers though is that most Anzacs & Islanders are pretty laid back & non confrontational.

| The worry with Ben hanent is he was reportedly homesick for brisbane while playing in Sydney!!! He's a top forward but that homesick thing makes me nervous. Unless its a Joel moon kind of homesickness. .....

| Someone who "gets it" thats what UKIP say.
It depends on your ambitions, do you want Warrington to be a 6th-8th place club with local lads in it, or do you want Warrington to be a club competing for trophies.
In the past few years we've had the second approach which was based on denying our home grown youngsters a chance so we could have the likes of Carvell, Morley and Hill in the front row imported from other teams.
We could reverse that policy now and just play our own youngsters but then if they aren't as good as the likes of Carvell, Morley and Hill we will need to have other excuses: maybe Tony Smith has run out of steam as a coach?

| Here's an idea... lets never sign another player that's not 'local'... then we can all 'get it'.
I always loved a good relegation battle anyway.

| paul cullen once said he didn't care whether a player was from Woolston all Woollongong.
Right now i think we can all appreciate the validity of that statement.

| Atrocitasi hasn't shown anything, pay him off a year and stick a kid in the side, if only for experience.
