| Quote: ThePrinter "Or not register Burrell? If he only joins in July I don’t think they’ll throw him in at the business end of the season with no RL experience since his mid teens and more likely hold him back for 2020.'"
Possibly. That would make sense. He won’t have had a break either if he rolls straight into playing RL. But will he want to go from July 1st to February without playing?

| Hmmm, it could be he may count this year but will be zero cap in 2020 and 1/2 cap in 2021.

He'll fall, I'm sure, under the talent pool exemption coming from a successful union career.'"
What does that mean?

There's no debate from him, just 12 year old's style jibes. Befdtime for him'"
I know it's difficult or more correctly distracting, but, just ignore the twerp, after rolling your eyes, sighing, laughing or whatever floats your boat.
Replying to our visitor will only give them the child- like attention that they crave. There will be nothing more frustrating than not getting a reaction, much better than a ban IMO and let's face it on one level the whopper and the warped, one eyed desperation is quite funny/sad?

| Does that mean if you aren’t talented you have to pay? Slightly subjective!!

| As a non Union fan this signing to me is absolutely Bizzare, as i'd never heard of him before so have never seen him play. I can't remember any union player in the past maybe 10 years that has been successful in league (apologise if i'm wrong). And no i don't mean league players that left and came back, i mean out and out Union players that come to league.
As far as i know Burrell hasn't played league in 10+ Years, he's a centre that is 6'3 and over 17st so i don't think he will actually play as a league centre, i could be wrong but for me this signing is a real head scratcher. Apart from the salary cap factor of course.
But as always i wish him the best and will save judgement until i actually see him play for us, he's a big powerful guy from what little i've seen of him so hopefully he will be awesome for us

| If it’s free it’s worth a punt. Not quite sure he’s 17 stone but he will lose bulk. Having said that Hurrell must be that kind of weight.
Can’t think of any Union converts in the last 10 years apart from Andy Powell who had a bizarre spell with Wigan!

| Watching him (on YouTube admittedly), looks like one of those players who you look at and think could make it in league (Brown, Ford, Farrell, Halfpenny to name few) but only time will tell with fitness etc., and whether that's a reality.
Odd. But interesting signing.
That is an interesting poser though, who was the last decent union convert to league without having first played league before coming back? Gareth Thomas and Andy Powell hardly at the world alight. Can't even think of anyone else other than fringe players.

| There’s loads of players that could make it in League and the same from League to Union. You just need to select the right players.
Thomas was mid 30s I recall and wasn’t awful. Powell was an aging badly conditioned boozer who was released by a poor Sale side. He certainly had the raw tools, but was knackered after 2 mins!! Sale released a young lad Jordan Davies who went to Salford and played a bit. He’s back in lower league Union. No one any good with England international ambitions would move across. England players earn as much in the 6 nations as a highly paid league player sadly.
