Do you intimate that Eddie wants the statue of Cunningham in St Helens to be replaced by one of Roby, and Eric Ashton to be replaced by another one of Roby at Wembley?

Who said they end August? That makes no sense, they end being public but they don't stop......unless i'm wrong?

There's got to be some form of cut off. Otherwise it'd just be the 'Coach who's team won the Grand Final' award.
I think the best thing to do is to do the voting in the final round of regular season games before the playoffs start. I think Holbrook is a worth winner of it this year. We've been superb in Super League, so far anyway But if Salford win the final it will make a mockery of the award.

| MoS votes definitely carried on to the end of the season, they just stopped being made public. Not sure about coach - personally I'd have given it to Watson or Ward.

| The coach award is difficult because there are two ways of looking at it - do you give it to the coach of the side that has been the best all year (in which case, Holbrook), or the coach of the side that has most risen above expectations (in which case, Watson). You can make a case either way, I suppose.

| Agreed - and wouldn't argue with either.
Hastings - no other choice really.

So if it shouldn't be just the Coach whose team won the Grand Final award why would it make a mockery of the award if Holbrook wins it but Salford win the final

| Watson is a fine coach and would have deserved it too but you can't grumble at Holbrook winning it. He's done an excellent job in the league this season.

Cut off, the day after the final elimination semi.
Each eligible SL player has 24 hours to submit his vote to the SL HQ.
Each squad has 25 - 30 eligible votes 12 teams, so that's a maximum of 360 opinions for each category. Ceremony Sunday/Monday night
We live in a technological world. Surely it can't be THAT difficult
