why dontthe rfl follow football for once and play the final league games on a friday night all kicking off at 8 or even saturday afternoon / evening..that way no team gains an advantage and fans can make the necessary arrangements...

Not necessarily if Hull lose to wigan and we beat wigan we could (or Hull) could win it with a week to spare. If we lose to catalans then wigan will feel they have as good a chance as us and Hull. Go for every 2 points the team we are sending is good enough to send us top.

Winning in France means absolutely nothing if we pick up injuries and can't beat Hull. Losing at France makes absolutely no difference if we win at Hull.
