Deary me. There is a reason he never did anything at International Level. And that reason is because he is not that good. Running about in the super duper league does not constitute being in the major leagues. He would have lasted about 3 months in the NRL. |

No one is saying monas isn't brilliant.... But if the sky pundits will talk about briers as a potential MOS then why shouldn't we.... After all, he has been possibly the best half back in SL this season.... |

I wouldn't disagree, but the Sky pundits aren't always correct. I wouldn't argue with Briers being at least in the top 3 halfbacks this year, but I think the main reason is because the forwards dominate and allow him time on the ball, and I think the reason the forwards are so dominant is because Monaghan makes their job a lot easier. He also makes it easier for the halfbacks because he's a creative player. Of course you don't need a Wiganer to explain what will be obvious to Wire fans, but I thought I'd say it anyway. |
