| There is a limit to 3 players per club playing for the Exiles. Our current 5 will become 3 in the final 17. Not seen mention anywhere of a limit in the England squad.
Those that do play may well just back up and play again for us on the Sunday anyway - that happened recently down under with players playing on the Friday in the Aus-NZ and Country-City origin games and then again for their clubs on the Saturday and Sunday. Can't recall who it was, but I read of one player who played in the Origin game, then was up before dawn on the Saturday to catch a flight and then a long coach trip and then topped the tackle count on the Saturday night.
I think most of the player involved will play against Salford, maybe one or two who usually start might be on the bench, but otherwise we won't be too affected.

| I think we might see Hodgson and King and Joel in the Exiles side and Benny, Moz and Bridge in the England 17 which might result in the side for Salford looking like ..

6 Briers
7 O'Brien / Myler (if fit)
8 Wood
9 Mike Monas
10 Carvell

| I think we'll have Brett in the team. Bluey has picked Web for his team. You only need one full back, right?

| Cameron Smith and Billy Slater went from playing Anzac test to playing the Broncos at Suncorp for Melbourne the following day ......
Therefore, should worse case scenario occur and 6 - 8 of our lads feature in the Exiles game, I'd hope that not all of them sit the Salford match out. If they feel good and raring to go again, just get on with it. They're rugby players not fairies.

| Will Webby be fit? He was on crutches after the CC match with Crusaders?
Only 3 players are allowed to play for the Exiles from each team. There's no limit for England though.
As I've said previously. If I was Stevie Mac, I wouldn't play Peacock or Moz. I'd go with Graham, Carvell, Coley and Crabtree in the front row. I wouldn't pick Myler to play either if Brough is gonna call himself English from now on, but he'd be in my squad. Bridge is a definite inclusion, as are the Benny's (H if fit). Atkins for me wouldn't make the team but would also be part of the squad.
I think our squad will be fine against Salford. Get it played and get the 2 points.

It was just a dead leg I think.
I imagine that a few players will be able to back up on the sunday, but I'm still not sure which of our players will play, as people have said, with McLennan picking Webb today, will Hodgson play?

| To be honest I wouldn't want anyone backing up. It's only Salford were playing, so no point risking injury to any of our star players by putting their bodies under unnecessary strain.

| It's ironic that we're all worried about not disrespecting Swinton in the Cup. Nobody cares about disrespecting Salford lol.

| Eddie said on BootsnAll that he had heard there may be some agreement whereby there are no more than 4 players per club involved in total in the match. i.e. if you have 3 in the exiles team you'll only have 1 in the England team. Or 2 on each. That would seem a fair way of doing it.

The Exiles team is capped at three players per club and it would be nice to see the same restrictions imposed on the England team - or a combined cap like they suggested on Boot 'n' All. This would work nicely for us but I’m not sure how this works with regards to the quality of international fixture - there's an argument that says it should be the best players regardless of any restrictions.
We have Anderson, Hodgson, King and Monas x 2 in the Exiles squad so we will get at least two of those back for the Salford game based on the three player ruling.
According to the Guardian, some of our players may well back up anyway: www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/wol ... d_matches/
