Wood harrison and monaghan were there
The event was alright we played for an hour then had a break then another 40 mintues before the top 8 chip stakes made the final table, i unfortunately left about 10 minutes before the final table was chose as my mate ruined my chances by beating my pocket queens when i went all in then he wasted it by going all in the hand and losing so we decided to leave.
1st place got a signed rugby ball and 100 quid
2nd a rugby ball and a race night or golf
3rd a rugby
There was also a prize for most rebuys which was woods testomonial shirt signed by andrew johns which my mate probably would have won as he payed 3 times the idiot haha but we left early so didnt get it.

There were 5 named for joint most rebuys (went to card flip as to who won it), but only 2 were still there! |

haha no surprise was the warrington players even in it they just sort of played between the 3 of them on a table haha i thought i was doing ok then some lad joins by table and had wiped out all his table so had like 8 times my stack haha |

My mate Dan won the comp.
The guy who won the shirt donated it back for auction and my other mate bought it for £ 50-00 along with the winning bal from Dan for £ 40-00
The 2 of them are not yet RL fans - working on them though !!

| Good night - slight shame that a few more players didn't turn up but after Friday's battle I think we can forgive.
I was playing solidly until a flukey straight beat me. (I blame MrF's dealing after he was knocked out. 
Nevertheless great fun.
Announced also tonight were a Fans Forum on August 17th, Brian Carney and Terry O'Connor already confirmed, with more still to be announced.
A Casino Night is also in the pipeline - watch the space. |
