Are we not going a bit strong at that one?

| To The Kinks 'Layla':
He's not the world's slimmest guy
but when he comes off the bench he sets up a try Solommoonnaa
Big Dave Solommoonnaa... Big Dave Solommoonnaaa!
He's got girly hair but we don't care,
cos' when he's on that pitch he's no-ones bitch Solommmoonnnaaa
Big Dave Solommoonnaaa etc.
That is my attempt at a song for the big man, I realise many will struggle as it contains more than 3 words but I'll be giving it a blast at Hull anyway! (before anyone starts its easier to get songs to take off at away games due to a smaller audience)

| Was it my imagination, or was there some "shoe waving" going on (a la Monty Python's Life Of Brian) in the South East corner, when Solomona was on fire?

That's not the first time this has been done. There was in fact a horrible smell of lettuce when it was done at KR last week. I'd prefer people to wash their feet if they're going to do it.
I have no idea where it came from, but it produces a good laugh. Simple minds and all that.
As for Solomona, I don't think we've the seen the best of him just yet, I think there is more to come.

| Fingers crossed he stays injury free because when the sun starts shining and the pitches get a bit firmer, he's going to be unplayable.

| Solomona is a world class player. One of a handful we have ever had at the club.

| A neutral would think hes been here for years.. He not only lifts the players he lifts the fans asoon as we see his white skull cap walking along the touchline.. The guy could take us to that next level this year, we've not had a player like him who can come off the bench not knowing what hes going to do with the ball in hand.. And as this topic is headed, Solomona really does appeciate the support he gets from us all!
Top bloke, world class player.. In Smith We Trust!!!

| Great to see (well maybe not against us!) Solomona seemingly getting back to the kind of form that us at Wakey were very lucky to see a few years back!
He's one of only a handful of genuine World class players I've seen turn out in our colours and will always appreciate what he did on the field for us, some may be still bitter but I've nothing but admiration for the guy.
There's no doubt he will chuck in the odd awful display here and there, but if the coach can get the best out of him in the majority of games he plays, then he could be the type of player to take you to the next level. On his very best days, he's simply unplayable!
If there's one team other than my own (which is highly unlikely at this time) I'd like to see break the dominance of Saints/Leeds it's the Wire, so best of luck this season...

| He didn't drop the ball against the pies - it was dislodged by three tacklers, one yanking Solos arms upwards.

| We've not seen anywhere near the best of him, unsure whether we will like, but if we do - watch out.
I can remember him (with the help of Domic & Jeffries) making Wakefields left edge in the most dominant in SL.
If he does that, and Briers comes back, making the right edge dangerous as he does, exciting times ahead.
