What you will get with Atkins is loyalty. Throughout his time at Wakefield he spoke highly of the club and how much he enjoyed it there. It seems that he will do the same at your place.

Everyone at Wakefield spoke of him in the terms of unfulfilled promise, not lack of ability. If it comes out at your place, good luck to him and good luck to Wire. You're a good club with good fans and always a great place to go.

I never doubted him, he's been good all season just hasn't got the tries which Some people think is the only thing that makes a back good

My vote would have gone to King, but not disappointed that Atkins got it.

I would have struggled to give it to a forward, as I thought they were all excellent, and it really was a great pack effort rather than individuals standing out. King and Atkins provided the spark though, which was needed in a tough game like this.

Wrong to slate him so soon into his first season with a new club, however on the flip side it you can't say the opposite. Nothing can be judged after just 5 or 6 games. Remember Hull won their first five before the wheels fell off. Things could fall apart for Wigan, Wire or anyone else up there.

one thing about Atkins - he is a great athlete. short, but very powerful, great leg drive. in other words, exactly the type of player the club should be signing, in contrast to one or three individuals who have worn the jersey in recent seasons.

Saturday showed the team is fit, and has more petrol in the tank than recent seasons. however - a word of caution. Man for man, on paper, the Wire squad is way stronger than Bradford, Bradford have ;downsized' quite dramatically and no longer have many real star players. Warrington really should be beating teams like that without too much difficulty.

Agree with you Dico, he's definitely a winger and could be a very good one if he fulfils his potential.

People talk about his England potential, if he is to play for England, it won't be at 3 or 4, mark my words.
