| we could quite possibly see just as many wigan fans as wire fans for this one.
many wire fans have walked away, i believe we only have 4-5k season ticket holders. Walk up fans will probably amount to 2-3k as its on telly and the weather forecast is poor.
wigan on the other hand, well their tails are up after beating saints and they will be travelling in numbers, expect at least 5k.
should be a great game but one that wire are capable of winning.

| I would like to think that the atmosphere and the occasion will bring back some supporters for this one. It is after all, one of the best home games each season along with St. Helens. Add Mathers & Gleeson into the mix and it should be fantastic.
Just hope we get a win against Hull without any injuries.

| I hope that someone like one of the anderson bros or benny hits gleeson with a right bell ringer.
I reckon that would get the biggest cheer of the night.

If thats the case we should give the pie eaters half the North Stand cos we never fill it anyway at home games.
I do genuinely hope that we sell this out, its been a while since a home game did that and generated a good atmosphere.

| I think it will sell out. If we win tomorrow then it's a definate sell out.
Both teams are on the up at the moment and add the Gleeson factor and Wigans poor record at HJ into it you have a sell out.

I may be the only game so far this year that I actually pay for.

I think you're right there. Wigan will bring thousands, so its up to us Wire fans really and I reckon we'll sell out.

Do season ticket holders automatically count towards the attendance even if the ticket hasn't been used

My understanding on this is:
-If a game is a sell-out, the attendance that is reported is the ground capacity;
-If the game is not a sell-out, the attendance is the no. of people in the ground.
Not sure why we do it this way, will find out for you if you like.

I just remembered being told once that if you have a season ticket then you automatically count, so for example if we have say 6,000 season ticket fans the game against Wigan will already have 6,000 down as being there even if 1,000 season tickets holders cant make it.
My understanding was that they counted or just had a rough guess at how many tickets had been pushed through the turnstile.

I think they count all season ticket holders to have attended, then add the number of non season ticket holders attending the game to get the attendance. This, I believe, is so the season ticket revenue is attributed correctly each month for accounting purposes.
i.e) earned revenue for season tickets each month will apply as 1/14 of total season ticket revenue for each home game in the month.

I was told that Warrington are one of the few clubs in SL who DON'T count season ticket holders as being always in attendance. Many others do.
