| It's too early to be discussing contracts, in my opinion, but he was excellent today. Gave Bridge the ball in some fantastic positions.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

It's pointless. If it was explained, you wouldn't understand.

Well we shouldn't have to if you watched the game.
His passing was excellent in the first half, he was putting the players through the gaps with ease, his passing was opening Hudds up and they couldn't handle it. Some of the wide passes he threw were quality. Bridge is hardly an experienced centre, yet Briers made him look as good as Gleeson today.
Add to that he lead the side around the field well and controlled the game, he was excellent and saying all he done was '2 good kicks' is very ignorant, even for you.

Agreed that his passing was better although he threw a very wild one in the 2nd half, i don't think you can say than Briers made Bridge look good, that's a pretty ludicrous statement to come out with, his kicking game in the 1st half was top notch but in the 2nd it went a little wayward.

| Well he did make him look good in a way. He got the ball to him in some great positions, isolating their centre/winger and Bridge could just flick it out wide to Hicks, or whatever. It's the half back's role to provide for the backs, Briers did this exceptionally today

Isn't he injured ?
so next week we will see if you're right but seriously i think he brings a dimension to the team that no other player does.
1. Can anyone in the team tactical kick better than lee
2. Who has the best vision
3. Which player has pulled us out of the s--t the most in the current side

| If Briers plays like that every week, we'll win far more games than we lose.
He gave one bad pass in the first half that almost led to an intercept, and his tackle on Whatuira was poor from a good starting position.
But other than those two errors, his distribution was superb. I don't mind Warrington making a few mistakes with ball in hand, as long as they are trying things. We were trying things, and Briers was at the heart of our attacking play throughout.
He was constantly found in the right positions in defence, and that for me is a sign of Lee Briers being up for the game. He has looked well motivated since Smith joined and his partnership with Monas should continue to improve now Smith has them playing as a "proper" halfback pair (ie. no sodding channels).

Generally ran the game, thats all
Anybody notice how Tony Smith has already made sure that Briers has reverted back to being the main playmaker. He's no fool this Tony Smith is he
If his hamstring injury is anything more than a slight niggle and he misses the HUll KR game next week I have a feeling that we will all be rather too aware of what Lee Briers does in a game come 9pm Sunday. It could be another Cas performance with there being no link whatsoever between the forwards and the backline.

The answer to questions 2 & 3 is Briers but i would like to see Bridge been given the kicking duties a little more, he has proved more than capable on numerous occasions.
