Jesus Christ people will moan about anything, if people are saying Goodwin isn't a good signing they either don't know poop about him or they just want to moan. Goodwin is a Quality centre who i would take over Hiku any day of the week, whoopee doo if we didn't show much interest in him before now.

I am sick to death of playing Widnes. Last year ( this year ?) we played them 5 times including the friendly. Enough is enough, do something different over Xmas please or I shall be watching the ladies beach volleyball in Miami instead.

In pre-SL days our Boxing Day and New Year's Day opponents were usually Wigan and Leigh. The locker/wardonia 'friendly' itself as always right at the start of the season, so was usually a firey encounter as both teams were ready to go. No reason why a new sponsored friendly of this kind could not be instigated, but taking place 5-6 weeks out of the new season may mean it has no more intensity than the Widnes match.
