| Quote WalterWizard="WalterWizard"How about Catalans Dragons v Bradford Bulls as the Sunday televised game?'"
I wonder whether Warrington will consider switching the game to Friday night to get a bigger crowd and avoid clashing with the televised games on the Sunday and the amateur games on Saturday?

| Quote SEB="SEB"The most obvious tie to televise for me is the Hull KR v Celtic one (plus the Leeds v Saints one, obviously). The BBC won't fork out for sending a film crew to the Catalans v Bradford one - unless I suppose French TV are filming it and willing to sell it to the Beeb for less than it would cost them to film another game - Hull v Salford isn't too attractive with the current form of each team, Quins v Hudds doesn't leap out and the crowd will be tiny.
So Hull KR v Celtic is obvious. Crowd will be OK and it gives the Beeb a look at the new club.'"
Didn't the BBC send a crew over for the Toulouse v Widnes game a few years back?
I can picture Ray FRench now "Parlez vous sintellins?"

"Un fish split please garcon"
Yeah, remember watching this game as Justin Morgan's Toulouse outfit upset Widnes.

Already considered, more to do with the Easter schedule the week after, but York are in to make money as it's their big payday.

How will the "payday" thing work - now that season ticket holders get free entrance to this round?

Does that mean considered and rejected, or considered and happening?

| From York City Knights Website:
York City Knights can confirm that their 4th Round tie against Super League opposition Warrington Wolves, will take place on Saturday 4th April, K.O 2pm at the Halliwell Jones Stadium. The two clubs agreed to this date following the news that 2 matches will be televised on the Sunday and hope it's easier for fans to play the tie on the Saturday rather than the Friday night.
Admission to the game will be £14 / £6 - Adults and Concession seating and £12 / £5 for Adult and Concession standing. Junior season ticket holders are once again able to gain free admittance with their junior season tickets, using Voucher C.
2 stands will be open at the Halliwell Jones Stadium for this game with a capacity of 7,000. The Wolves have 5,000 season ticket holders (Super League season ticket holders are entitled to free entry on production of their season ticket) so the Knights would urge their supporters to buy tickets once they go on general sale on Monday (16th March) from the club office

| Stadium will be half empty on the Saturday - they'd have been better on the Friday night or Sunday lunchtime before the televised games. Working for a bookie gives me no chance as this is our busiest day of the year - ah well, will look forward to the next round!!!

Pretty disappointed too that I won't be able to sit in my regular seat for this game.
