Yes I think this is it. In the meantime he'll play 6, 1 and Centres as Briers and Hodgson are approaching mid 30's and centres are always needed. Long term our 6 to Myler at 7.

Interesting that in his statement/childlike rant, Parish seems to be under the impression that players should be chained and shackled to one club and never allowed to leave, for ever and ever....

He says that he thinks its wrong that a player should be able to choose which club he plays for once his contract is up...

I think its fair to say that Mr Parish is a cock of the highest order, and is seriously in for a wake up call, if he reckons players are going to want to play for that tinpot outfit ahead of sides who are ambitious and in the hunt for major honours.

So when Mr Parish is coaching the club and he sees a player he doesn't want anymore and tells him he's surplus to requirements, does that player then say NO i want to stay at Salford i don't want to play for Whitehaven.

Is this the same Matt Parish who has come out and blatantly said he'll use Salford to get a better gig back home? Let's see his loyalty IF any NRL clubs or even higher super league clubs come sniffing.

To be fair Matt Elliott was head coach at both Canberra & Penrith. Admittedly he was pretty much bobbins in both roles - especially his recently at Penrith before getting the boot if the aussie press reports are to be believed
