Play Monday night
Tuesday- 1
Wednesday- 2
Thursday-3
Friday- 4
and play Saturday.

4 full days off.

Edit: it would be foolish to suggest that they just get to the HJ at half four. They will have spent Saturday morning etc doing stuff

Plus it was a late game on Monday and an early on Sat; the opposite of a usual short turn around

Thanks for the replies. For me it is no different to playing Sunday afternoon to Friday, apart from the fact players won't have got much sleep last night. It is Championship players regularly playing Sunday then Thursday with only one training session and a full time job that I feel sorry for.

For me it was maybe an attempt at mind games with Briers knowing Wane et al would be watching, or more likely just a typical Briers sarcy comment. Smith has made his dislike for Hemmings pretty well known (the other week he said at the fans forum he dislikes him as a person) and is painfully blunt and difficult when interviewed by him, I imagine Lee's comments wound him up- he is only human.
