I was hoping they would do what they did for Wembley in 2009 and open the North Stand, go in through the fire exit and out through the turnstiles.

Yeah good point, they probably wasn't expecting it to be as busy as it was.. I popped to tesco this morning before work and I couldn't believe the queues! Made me glad I bought mine a week ago!!

When I went in the morning, two were on tills whilst each had another person were serving the next person (getting tickets etc), and It seemed to move pretty smoothly.

No complaints about Wolfware today - saw queue and thought 'Oh crap' but moved very quickly and was out in under an hour.

No complaints from me about the club shop either. I arrived at 8:45 this morning and queued for just over an hour. Service was very efficient and fast and I got the 2x South Stand tickets I'd gone in for. Result.

perhaps your grandparents were at fault, we know how slow they move in general, so maybe it was them?

Id say its about time they had a store in the mall, stadium shop is to small now?

They are adding 2 more ticket office windows as part of the stadium work, which will help.

The shop is a good size (compared to the old Wilderspool shop and other shops), it's close to town, ASDA stock some club merchandise and then there's online these days. So I wouldn't say there's a need for a dedicated shop in the mall, could get additional stores stocking merchandise though.

I was in the shop this evening at 5pm. I heard a gent in front of me asking for tickets for the South stand, only to be sold it was sold out.

how many 'old people' like this aren't season ticket holders ??
Perhaps they are but got mixed up - again a symptom of old age which surely isn't the fault of the club shop !
