No. I was using your reasoning. You used Morley being in the dream team as being some kind of reasoning as to him being better. Well Graham is the current Man of Steel.
You then said Morley has proved he is better at the international level so is therefore better than Graham. Well Jammer was recognised as the international prop of the year and the only Englishman in the team of the year. At least it shows he is acknowledged as being of the required international standard.
Personally i don't pay that much attention to dream teams and the such, but since YOU brought it up as a way to say Morley is better than him,i thought i'd indulge you and show that Jammer is equally as recognised with awards. I'll settle for the fact that Jammer has a far greater statistical output and does far more work than Morley and you can bask in the joy that he is dream team.

How many metres would Morley have with as many carries as the FGB? Nuff said. Can argue allday we're never going to agree.

5,300.
Means nothing though because:
A)He didn't.
B) He wouldn't.
C)Doesn't account for the more carries the more likely he is to fatigue etc
D)It is a pointless figure to work out. If i make one run of 10 yards work out what i'd be with the same carries as Jammer, i'd be the highest runner in the league with 6,570 yards. Not particularly likely.
Oh, and if we can work out stats, based on carries by Jammer, then Puletua would make 5,789 yards.

I'd agree with that, and i have never argued to the contrary. Morley has had a fantastic career.
However Graham has been better this year and i'd take output over reputation.

| Why is it that any posts from fans of another team get shot down on this forum, even when they have a valid point. The point about our defence was true but just because it was a Stains fan everyone has to start taking the proverbial out of Graham.
Yes,this is a Warrington forum but it's good to hear non-Wire opinions. Lets not make a reputation for ourselves on the web as being single minded idiots.

and how many times have you watched morley this year?
about as many times as i have watched graham, how you can say graham has been better this year baffles me,does graham inspire or lift your team to the extent morley does with ours, the stats are often broken down to the smallest fraction but some things you can't measure.
come back and argue when graham has had a successful stint in aus winning over the anti english sydney press and gaining the respect of a plethora of top drawer aussie front rowers.
they may both have had outstanding seasons but to suggest graham is superior to morley is way off the mark.

All but one or two of Warrington homes games i've been at. The ones that have clashed with Saints home games i haven't been at. Plus obviously all of the games Wire have been on TV. So i've seen Morley quite alot.
Quote: the tache is back "how you can say graham has been better this year baffles me,'"
He has. Unless you don't count more yards, more carries, more tries, more offloads, more tackles, more attacking kicks, less penalties, less missed tackles and more tackle busts as being better?
The main job of a prop is to make the hard yards. In only one more game the difference between Jammer and Morley is half of Morley's entire season production.
Quote: the tache is back "does graham inspire or lift your team to the extent morley does with ours,'"
Morley is a more vociferous and vocal leader. Graham doesn't have to be. We have Cunningham, Long and Wellens who do the talking. Graham is the leader in the sense that he will put the pack on his shoulder and carry the ball in time after time.
Morley would definately have the edge in terms of leadership.
Quote: the tache is back "come back and argue when graham has had a successful stint in aus winning over the anti english sydney press and gaining the respect of a plethora of top drawer aussie front rowers.'"
As i've said a number of times. Morley gets a hell of a lot of respect for his time in Aus. He was outstanding, and being a Roosters fan i watched him a number of times. That said, i don't see the fascination with Aus being the only way to prove you are world class, and secondly the discussion isn't about previously it is about this season.
Quote: the tache is back "they may both have had outstanding seasons but to suggest graham is superior to morley is way off the mark.'"
No it isn't.
I'd love an actual discussion on this, so why has Morley been better than Graham?

| Quote: ST_CONROY "They don't particulalry considering they are voted by the media, and the meida are generally wrong! For example that guy who does the times blog (Chris Irvine?) wanted Keith Mason to be one of the props in the dream team. I have nothing against Mason, but he hasn't been the second best player in his position in the league.
However to be voted into the team of the year and being the only Englishman must show that he impressed the Aussies, and made an impression in a tournament when we were terrible in large.'"
So you've watched a lot more RL than Chris Irvine has this season to make that judgment? You're a simple Saints fan trying to be a forum keyboard warrior. Chris Irvine is a well respected Rugby League journalist.
Let's face it, I'd take anything Irvine says over anything you say every day of the week. Hell, I'd even listen to Nosey Parker before listening to you.
However, if you feel like you can do a better job, why don't you email Chris and tell him personally. Or apply for a RL journalist position. Let me know when you have done it.
