However the concerning thing isn't that we have lost 5 of our last 6, it's the performances we are putting in. We started the season defending well, shown best against leeds. But now our defence has gone to pieces, and if you look at our attack over the games, it doesn't look good.
Saints
Will this new 'signing' be happy to play in the championship? Because thats where we are heading if things don't make a dramatic improvement soon! And yes I am serious.

Agree 100%. However I'm worried that we still don't even have someone lined up.

That's a fair point, but I think you can only do that so often before it has a negative effect or it becomes 'water off a ducks back'.

| Without doubt Smith should stay and sort out the issues we are all faced with. He is responsible for, the appointment of Agar, the lack of halfbacks of any quality, the poor defence, the clueless attack, the slack passes and the dropped balls. He is at the top and buck stops there. He now has to prove he is the man to turn that around and get us back to the high level we have been used to over recent seasons.

Jeez, talk about a comment being way wide of the mark.
I know things are not that great at the moment, but we're not crap enough to get relegated. It just won't happen.

31007_1580947500.jpg EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_31007.jpg |

| Isn't it just that you've not yet replaced the heartbeat of the team, with Monaghan and Briers going? The impression I get from Warrington is that you haven't yet worked out what your creative source is, which I can't understand, and Clarke has gone from awesome to anonymous. In previous years, you always knew it would revolve around Briers, and Monaghan would drive the team forward. Now? Still some willingness to move the ball around, but the threat isn't quite so obvious.
This is a shame. If Wakey can't win it, I've always wanted Warrington to, because the fans are passionate and in numbers, and were when the going was rough before Tony Smith came along.

We were indeed passionate and in numbers......full house vs wakey at the last Wilderspool game. ... Full house vs wakey at the first game at the HJ. ...and we were bobbins then never troubling the play off spots for many a year. ....
Quite feasibly we could be at half capacity on Saturday. .....and I don't know why, all these stay away fans have seen rubbish rugby before....
It goes without saying I hope you stay up(and us too! )and Widnes go down.

| I'm missing my 2nd match this season on Saturday as I'm off on holiday for a few days.
I couldn't have guessed my club would need my presence against Wakey in early April. (no disrespect to Wakey!)

With our attendances plummeting every willing individual is needed to soften the blow.
But nice dig all the same there champ.

| It wasn't a dig, it's a statement of fact. They don't NEED your presence. Have a word with yourself. Unless of course, you are Richard Agar. Though the same applies, tbh.

That's not worked out too badly for them. (yes, I know they have lost their last 3 games, but they did win their first 6)'"
True it could have worked with Mona's but Smith has chosen to go with Agar, KC had a long spell as assistant and until last last season Sts had little success, Long has been away for awhile learning, as you point out they are doing well and maybe the time was right, I would love to see Mona's back here It's just a little too soon I suspect, just hope Smith has Mona's name in his one for the future notebook.

I reckon MM will stay in Europe as long as JM is playing - once JM is ready to move back to Oz then MM will take up a coaching role over there, I really can't see him coming here to be honest.
