You clearly don't rate Penny. That is your opinion, and an opinion you have every right to hold and I will not argue with you about it.

I am saying that the statistics show that so far this season, on average, with Penny off the pitch we have conceded 2.5 times more points per game than with him on it. This is a fact, as shown by the statistics, and as you have stated yourself, "can't be denied".

No we don't have a problem, now that Penny has gone.

The stats that you have provided cant be denied but im not talking about the team defence.
Regardless of how many tries has been scored down the middle or on the right, that fact doesn't show up King or Penny as being poor, however tries scored down the left wing/centre positions do and since penny has been dropped we have conceded very few.

Put it this way, Penny played against Saints and we conceded 3 maybe 4 tries down his wing, Penny hasn't played in the other 5 games and we have only conceded 2 tries down that same wing.

How do you explain the four games where 168 points conceeded in Penny's absence?

Unfortunately points count towards the result whether they are scored down the right, left or middle. The fact that we are conceding fewer points down the left means nothing when we start haemorrhaging points elsewhere.

Perhaps what has happened is that now that Penny is not there, opposition teams started targetting other parts of the defense and found even more incompetent defense than they previously did down our left!

168 points were conceded by the team, only 2 tries were scored down the left wing, im not interested in the team defence, im trying to explain why i feel our LEFT SIDED DEFENCE has become stronger without penny.
