| Excellent performance. All to often I've seen Wires get decent leads then get dragged into scrappy, attritional battles but we kept our shape and intent nicely and played some really nice stuff.
Widdop brilliant again, Ratch and Austin very good lieutenants and plenty of quality on show from King, Mamo (Greg who?), Ben C and Walker.

They still normally give each other a fist bump etc.. they completely ignored each other.

| Jake Mamo must have pushed Widdop for MoM. Young Toby must have pushed Mamo close for most hallucinogenic post match interview!

Rested was the talk pre match at Salford.
Good spelling of Hill and right decision to leave Clark on the bench. Walker probably played his best 80 min game.
Lineham needed the game as I thought he might.
Very shrewd from Price and played it right ahead of Cas next weekend.
Widdop was sensational.

| I only saw the last half hour (with no volume)
We looked sharp, and Widdop is a million times better than last season. Some well taken tries. Good stuff, Wire.
One question remains. Who turned Salford into a dirty/niggly pooh House team. Getting a thrashing, then come high shots, and some "over enthusiastic" defence, late on. Pathetic

Had his elbow in an ice pack after cas game. I believe he has done some damage but let's hope not too serious.

One of the worst SL team performances I've ever witnessed. Salford are continuing to enhance Ian Watson's reputation as a coach, even though it's been months since he left.

Widdop has been outstanding all season, shows how bad last year must hav ebeen for him outside the club. I'm glad he's showing his best form, a shoe in for MOS points this week, patton will pick up the 3 though obviously.

| I was impressed with Walker's part in the game. For a man who has had limited game time he took control nicely. He kicked the ball from dummy half at least half a dozen times and this gave us a bit of flexibility on our last plays and took the workload off Austin. Good from Price to leave him on.

Good point there. The kicking from Walker actually was quite effective, we only resulted to a midfield bomb once or twice. Other than one, from memory, he found the ground and made decent field position with them.

I'm a fan of Walker. He doesn't half get stuck in and make some tackles and punches well above his weight.

Bit of the "yard dog" about young Danny!

| Chris Hill deserves huge credit, that "track back" showed massive commitment. He has definitely upped his game this season and I wonder if that is down to being relieved of captaincy duties. Chapeau to him!

He's certainly not 'shy' and as we saw with Hill when he was at Widnes 'size doesn't matter'
