Leeds hit it right at the end of last season, Warrington had a bad game in the play offs (it happens you cant win every game) but warrington were a much better team than Leeds last year. Warrington are a million miles so far from last years performances so i agree with the poster there is a lot more improvement in warrington than leeds.

Harsh, I'd agree, but those are the rules and you see penalties given for exactly that motion quite frequently - the fact a try was potentially scored before the awarding of the penalty is irrelevant.

Possibly should have been by another score or so but I wasn't jealous of Leeds' performance, no. Pretty even stevens really. You can't argue missing Monaghan, Bridge, Hodgson, and losing Ratchford part way through, in addition to "couldnt catch a cold" first 30 minutes made a difference.

Well I did only watch it from a a bar and couldn't hear the commentary very well but the incident seemed to me like the Wire player wasn't making any sort of concerted effort to make any sort of tackle and the Leeds man wasn't really making any sort of interference.....I feel that would have been given by a high percentage of Video Refs

Laughed my off when Stevo said "it was clearly forward", then from the camera angle on the other side it looked a legitimate pass, he then STFU mid-sentence for a few seconds... then grudgingly said "well, it was close wasn't it".

Best person on the field to call that one was Silverwood and he called it forward, did so immediately as well, shame but those are the breaks, sometimes they go for you and sometimes they don't.

must be pretty hard to call forward or not some times for refs to be fair, given they are rarely in line with the flight of the ball, and so many passes are "flat" in this day n age.
