| I don't think the wheels have fallen off at Wigan. They have Tommy L missing at dummy half and are suffering the same as we do when Monaghan is not playing. I have been telling a couple of pie friends at work that if Tommy L gets injured they would struggle. They are convinced that Tomkins is more important. Teams like Leeds in the past have managed withought their first choice DH for big parts of the season but not many teams can.

| As much as we all loved Wigan losing last night, I don't think that we should quite be mocking their loss until we beat Catalan on Sunday...

| Game-plan to beat Wigan; let them build a big lead in the first half, then let them switch off and beat them in the second half. Has worked for both Quins and Bradford.

| Just goes to show that most teams are capable of winning anywhere in the right circumstances. Quins clearly much better for getting some talent back in, but recovering from 24-6 down at half-time takes some doing. Not the end of the world for Wigan, though, just as our 'surprise' defeat at KR does not mean that Wire's wheels have 'fallen off' either.

Not on the thread where it says Quins deserved their win, the only gripe some have is that they didn't have a man sent to the sin bin after they had 5 pens conceded on the bounce which I think most fans would ask for. We weren't good enough though and Quins played smarter and better rugby than us. That you will find we accept. As it happened for you at Hull KR the other week, players missing and players playing out of position no matter how good you are takes it out on you at some point as it has done with other teams already this year. I fancy Leeds to win tonight at Knowsley Road, Saints side is very weak and it would be a shock tonight if Saints got a result.

| It's been coming for a few weeks that defeat and hopefully it will wake us up. We got exactly what we deserved last night and any injuries we may have are no excuse for blowing an 18point half time lead.
As for Kevin Penny he looked like a new player from the nervous wreck i've seen turn out for Wire at times. He ran the ball stronger then i've seen him do before and caused us all sorts of problems supporting halfbreaks. He really looked like a lad that can get his career back on track last night.

Thanks for the usual sensible input from NickyKiss. Quins' team was far better than the one they've put out up to now. Dorn is a big player for them.
No way to know but were all of Wigan's players injured, or were some rested in a miscalculation by the coach (Gleeson, Coley?)

Why are they surprised though. They have built him up on some pedestal like hes the new Alex Murphy or something when its plain to see, at least for me, he is nothing but a solid SL halfback and nor will he be anything else.
