If we lose I very much doubt it will be to do with effort. I'm pretty certain we will be getting effort but there is much more to it than that. I am more worried about us being over hyped up. I've never thought it clever to over-hype players in obviously important games.

Toulouse look pretty solid recently. I would hate us to get behind and then over play to catch up. This will be a horrible game to watch & having watched us fold so much you have to think just how many points would you want us to be ahead for supporters to be able to relax. Then you get players sent off for virtually nowt in the modern game. It is far better not being in this situation as all sorts of horrible things can happen.

To be fair he was asked a direct question in the press conference, he’s hardly going to say much different than the fans are really important and we need them behind us.

I don't mind that, you're right, it's an obvious answer. But when the club are constantly saying it, Ben Westwood is saying it, Matt Dufty is saying it i do feel like they are saying we're the issue.

I'll be behind them tonight, i was behind them vs Salford and KR and most were, until they crumbled and then the disappointment set in,. mostly after the final whistle tbh.

I also agree with Smiffy, this increased expectation could backfire. I said the disappointment from fans over the last few weeks was probably fuelled by not only the perceived lack of effort but also Powell still talking up our chances of the top 6, rather than just focussing on the task in hand.

I get what they're trying to do but I also have a funny feeling it could backfire. Toulouse are also playing for their lives also and maybe a cauldron atmosphere (that they probably haven't played in all season yet) might inspire them - even with the crowd against them.
