I saw that earlier Powell comes across really well. That's good social media use by the club, an improvement on the magoulias highlight reel anyway.

Hats off to the club this off season so far the fireworks and kit launch was a great idea and content like this is actually making me feel excited.

We play Leeds away Feb 12th, pretty sure it's our first match and it's the first of 10 free to air superleague match on channel 4 which is also a good move for superleague I feel. I hope we put on a good show and attract some early interest from new speccies.

Yes it is great to see the behind the scenes videos. Talk of changing systems and buying into approach. I wonder if this was a Powell initiative or the club management? Either way I am all for it. I too have a sense of optimism that we may see some nice skillful rugby at the very least.

Good to see Powell setting his stall out on that video. Obviously done for the cameras a little bit, but something different from the usual pre-season blurb.

The videos are great aren't they? I think fans really appreciate seeing the stuff that goes on behind the scenes especially with a new coach coming in and changing things around . Hopefully we'll get something on a weekly basis through preseason.

Excellent another good watch. I really like some of what he said there, especially the bit about appearing to be rattled in previous seasons when things go against us.

So much good stuff in that video.

- Being the most skilled team in the comp
- Controlled aggression in defence.
- Not getting rattled - how the way we finished the last 3 seasons cannot happen again.
- Being prepared
- Being elite sportsman all week
- Reading books on successful team cultures
- Improving every day / setting personal goals.

Funny thing is, this is pretty much bog standard leadership of high performance teams. It's what you should expect in a supposedly elite league. I wonder whether there is a difference to how Price worked with the players and if so how big that difference is. Suspect you'd have to ask a player off record for that one!

Yes, no one knows exactly how Price approached the psychology / non-technical side of things but you'd hope it would have been covered. The evidence is in the results though - we couldn't make it count when it mattered. As Simon Middleton quite rightly stated in the Guardiangood enough[/i (even if it's not the very best), should put us in a good place. Guess we'll see.

Quite. I could have provided the analysis. It's the ability to make it work that matters. Whether Powell succeeds will be partly down to his ability and partly down to luck.

The videos the club have been releasing are really good. I know I am a regular moaner about the direction of the club under KF but one thing that is certainly on the up is the video content on the youtube channel.

Lots of NFL clubs have now started adopting the amazon "all or nothing" model by producing their own "inside the club" content like this and it is great at providing fans with a way to watch their team behind the scenes. I think it will also help people understand what Powell brings more than the brief snippets we see in press conferences.

It would be nice to see a weekly half hour behind the scenes, although obviously specific match tactics would be a no-go.
