They were. Gary Numan too.
Kendall gave us a bad decision and then spent the last half hour apologising to the South Stand for it. Has been a while since Kendall has had a big crowd moaning at him for every decision, so disappointed but not surprised he felt the pressure.
Great effort by the team to get us in the positions from which Walker and William's did the damage in the last five.
Charnley had a nightmare and should be benched so Akauola can have a go next week.

Eh? Win or lose the quality of play was garbage, the quality of officiating was garbage. The only excitement was the closeness of the score and the late win. If you thought that was decent then your standards are on the low side.

I'm just talking pure diabolical attempt at doing ones job here. Kendall was TERRIBLE for both sides tonight. All round incompetence. He didn't try robbing any one team.

| Got away with a fortunate win as Josh Charnley didn't get the ball down, and I thought that a penalty try had been awarded. As the kick wasn't taken in front of the posts, then this couldn't be the case.
Hughes could have cost us the game, and SP needs to sort this out as it's not acceptable, especially from the team captain. Anyone know if he was sin binned for the late hit, or talking out of turn afterwards? Great determination from Danny Walker in scoring his late try, and composure from George Williams at the death. Steff Ratchford was a worthy winner of MoM, and Blake Austin had a much better second half after a shocker in the first. Charnley was costing us by incorrectly playing the ball, and ought to have cleanly finished at least one of the two chances he had (although one did officially count). Anyone else think that Tom Lineham would have scored both?

Both sides played tough games 3/4 days ago. In that context it was a good game: some dodgy mistakes but some incredible efforts, especially in scrambling defence, by both sides.

Tom Lineham would have snake bellied over both times, Charnley isn't as fleet footed as he thinks he is, he needs to back his size and ride the hit. I don't think its fair to blame him for the play the balls though, that second one he was being held around the arms for an eternity and simply tried to play it to get the game going again. Should have been a penalty. He is guilty of too much wrestling in the tackle though.

Disagree. The contact was inevitable but Hughes followed through and drove his weight into Gale when he didn't need to. It was stupid and nearly cost us.

| Sky's P155 boiling over the obvious mess up over the Charnley incident, is only backed up by the equal distress its causing to the plastic scousers.
The fact that the "world class" Harry Newman's second try, came off the back of the biggest non penalty you'll ever see, was conveniently forgotten about, during the so called expert analysis, makes it all the sweeter.
Shove that up your pipe, Wells, Carney etc

I was at that game, if memory serves he disallowed 4 maybe 5 tries.

That's future hall of famer, Harry Newman that you're talking about! I mean, he out paced Mike Cooper after 70 odd minutes of busting his arris down the middle while Newman himself stood on the edge of the field obviously admiring his coming contribution lol.

| If we want things to improve we need to stop CONSTANTLY having a pop at the standard. What I saw tonight was two good teams putting a right shift in after playing earlier in the week....I don't know how these fellas get up in the morning after a game. Yes there was more skill in the 80s 90s but by god I watched some.crap back then with Brendan Hill flopping to the floor every time the chunker got it. I watched that match with someone who had never seen the game before and she LOVED it. Also kendall wasn't great but bloody Nora it was better than the officiating I used to watch...anyone remember dessie's knock on at Leeds?
