| Well, having polished off the remnants of the Christmas Harvey's Bristol Cream, I'm proposing Stef to HB and that new lad who is ightning quick and so won't get a look in to FB. Can't be any dodgier at FB than Mamo.
No? Oh go on then, Patton to HB, zero wins from the first two and a new coach for Easter.

Can't see Ratchford playing in the halves as we had plenty of times last year he could of but Price kept with Patton.
I can't see him thinking any different, so patton will start the first 3 or 4 games until Widdop comes in again.
Not the end of the world but like someone said, the warm weather training is vital for halfbacks to gel. So when Widdop comes back it'll take 3-4 weeks before we see the Combo we are hoping for.
Maybe we will see Ratch in the Halves and Thewlis may get a few games at Fullback

| Not looking good and from what people seem to say, the guy is injury prone and a risk.
Honestly we shouldn't be taking risk's on players who are risky after the last season being so poor.
To me it's not looking good for this season, but here is hoping that it is just a simple injury and he will be back quickly and free of injury for months but we cannot rest our hopes of a good season on 1 player, we need all the players to play at there full potential every game and last year that was not the case.

After today's "joyous" news, and the thought of Declan Patton, may I cordially invite you to share a bottle of Absynthe with me, miaw.
It's halluciagenic properties MAY make us forget

May I suggest a chaser of laudanum to dull the pain.

That's an interesting statement. Not that I am advocating a change of coach but I seem to remember when Hendo was in charge of London he got good performances out of his squad and they played a reasonably expansive style of rugby. I can only assume it is Price who is dictating a five drives and a kick tedium. When Widdop gets on the pitch and up to speed it will be interesting to see if we open up a bit more as there will be no Patton blame game allowed.

I'll certainly need something to get me through 80 minutes in freezing weather watching Patton crabbing, doing telegraphed drop off passes, getting caught in possession and wellying it out on the full. LSD or smack washed down with port n lemon might just do it.
And yes folks, the Patton baiting season is officially open and I make no apologies whatsoever.

| Seems all very cloak and dagger given the rumours about him being injured a few weeks back... ‘rolling his ankle’ nah not having it..
