| Still baffled by the penalty that Sita conceded by getting up to play the ball. How dare he!

That was basically every time sam Tomkins gets tackled and s about with defenders.
I generally don't complain about refs(not thst much) but he stank last night.
And I'm saying that AFTER a win

Me too, never a penalty and led directly to a Leeds try.

I'm sure Steve Price can teach him to be a bit more selective in this, but you have to accept that his 'full on drive at all costs' style is also what delivers tries like the one he scored tonight.

No question his try was top draw.
Contrary to the reviewed tv commentary and and many posts I've read....he didnt score the match winning try...he scored the last when we had already recovered the lead.

| I didn't watch last night's game ,i had it on the radio, & it sounded like we did very well to overcome the self inflicted problems that came our way round about the hour mark. We sounded like a team very much on top & but for the problems that let Leeds back in to the game i think the result would have been even more emphatic.Great to see the Wire having the resilience to get back in to the game after going two scores behind after half time.

How are you going to do that with Atkins and Westwood, will
they be on a motorbike to counter Barba,s acceleration.

I think it might be a good idea to come up with some suggestions as to who we might suddenly buy ... or [iare you going to come up with this idea all season[/i. Not sure who you would go for especially as we probably have no more /or very limited money to spend.
Actually one or two clubs are struggling in this aspect.

| I think we're pretty well off for goal kickers but I am puzzled as to why Goodwin is given the task. Patton, Ratchford, Charnley and Livett are all better in my opinion plus we have Brown and Westwood.

| First time I've posted for a long time because actually not a lot to comment on and grew tired of the senseless bickering! (I read a lot of the posts and realize that's not changed before anyone says anything).
However last nights performance was very very good.
We weren't perfect by any means.
We should have scored more in the first 30 minutes as we were really dominant and were making meters for fun with quick ptb, whilst restricting Leeds go forward with some with aggressive defence when they tried to come out of their half - but fair play to Leeds for some good defence also.
We then lost our way a little for 30 minutes when Leeds got a roll on and we struggled to contain them. Some of their tries were very well set up, so fair play.
Now in many games that would have seen us finished - 11 points down going into the last quarter - and I didn't think they had the real character to come back in the way they did.
Unlike many on here I can easily see why penalties were given against BMM and Akauola. They were soft pens to give away but why give the ref that option? On those type of things do games turn, so I'm not criticizing the ref. We have to be smarter.
He missed a head shot on Ratch, but we need to look at ourselves before complaining about the standard of refereeing.
Livett played full of confidence and had a great game. Clear MoM for me. (He has a deceptively 'lazy' running style but a great brain).
Many others had great games, but I'm surprised no-one mentioned Chris Hill. I thought he was phenomenal.
The work in defence and attack he did was just unreal. How fit is that guy?
Then again Chris rarely has a bad game.
He took a few knocks and I'd like to see him given a rest next week because I think it would do him good for SL opposition to come. We do miss him when he's not on the field but we must learn be less reliant on him.
Finally - for me - just how good were those 2nd and 3rd Livett tries?
That was like 2011/2 stuff.
Real team effort, some great handling, good lines of running and effective inside passes and offloads.
Actually until now - even though we'd won 8 games on the trot - I never thought we really played that well or inspired massive confidence. We didn't necessarily play badly but we weren't at the level of the top 3-4 teams. I think the fixtures have favoured us in playing several 'lower' teams on the bounce (no slight intended) and allowing confidence to be built week on week through winning.
Cas were the 'top team' we beat, and I saw Leeds as a similar challenge, but we played soooo much better than we have done and overall confidence must be sky high.
Well done guys - keep it up.

Other teams have tried harder, its Warrington who have been the worse. Roby best dummy run stat of 15 by a big margin was against Warrington early this season.
