No doubt Mr Price has got the gen off previous team sheets & club coaching staff that "Ratch is a utility player who we have put at fullback" ,but after a few games he may decide that Ratch is better in a more attacking role.'"
Said it before and I'll say it again, I don't think there's a more attacking position on the pitch than a modern day full back. Gives him the freedom to roam all over the field rather than be stuck to one side, and link in to the line where he sees fit. The NRL generally put their best attacking players at full back - he's our best attacking player, let's leave him in a position that allows us to get the ball in to his hands anywhere on the field.
He's been far more successful at full back than he has in the halves, full back gives him a little bit more time on the ball, which I think he needs, he's not an organiser, so shouldn't be in the halves.
As for centre, I've no doubt he would make a decent centre, but we saw a very good defensive display from both our centres tonight - that isn't a strong point of Ratchfords game, I think big centres/2nd rowers running at him would have a field day.
