I've never known why people get so het up when they find they don't agree with a viewpoint. They seem to want to stifle it, ridicule, insult and then ban users and that is what causes the division amongst us all. I am hoping that in 2018 there can be more harmony and tolerance on here.

| I was looking forward to watching you beat Widnes in a couple of weeks ... talking of pessimism ... Widnes 40 Catalans 12.

| Not sure why there is an issue? Wire fans were notoriously pessimistic pre TS and then at the end of his reign, but predicting 7 losses is quite a leap. Hence my question.

| We'll win our next two games IMO and if so I'd have took 2/3 beforehand.

I hope you're right.
Then we play Wigan at home in game 4, with Wigan only having had a 6 day turnaround from playing South Sydney in Aus...

| ....that won't hinder the Pies.
ie,
They are pro bank holiday double games. Only TS voiced anti short turnarounds.
If we beat the Pies Sean Wane won't use it as an excuse.

Agreed, Wigan look at fixture list and plan their squads accordingly there will be games some fringe players will be earmarked to play in and so on!! It's almost like clubs only get their next fixture once they've played a game and a complete surprise when and where it be and not given a list of fixtures for the year before a ball has been passed!!

| How they approach the game or consider the game is pretty irrelevant to us.
What can't be disputed surely is that they will be affected by playing what is likely to be a high intensity game 12,000 miles away, then having at least two days prep of their 6 day turnaround taken up with travel and jet lag?
If they are managing their squad over the two games surely that means they will have their big players playing the week before, and less so against us?
It by no means guarantees a result for us, and I'm in no way suggesting it will be an easy fixture, but to say it wont affect them cant be right surely?

Don't say that too loudly or the RFL may introduce that for 2019.

I didn't say it wouldn't affect them....I said it wouldn't hinder them or use it as an excuse.
Pies mentality is different to TS of the past...TS sees a wall he'll erect scaffolding to get over it...Pies is to run threw with a digger.

What does that last paragraph mean? Please keep your explanation simple as opposed to one of your even more oblique references.

| I think he is remarking on the fact that Tony Smith would always get his complaints and excuses in early when disguising his apparent inability to win both Easter games, despite the fact that other teams manage it.
