Seems the sort of person we should be targeting - I just don't think we have much hope attracting an experienced coach over.

His links to the UK could be good too, may be less likely to want a top job in the NRL...?

Started watching the betting,in the last hour Brennan as gone from 10/3 into 11/4.

Having read up about him he would seem ideal for us and I really hope this is true.

Personally I know nothing about him, but he sounds as though he would fit the bill. Up and coming coach happy to get 2-3 years experience in the Uk before returning to get a head coach job down under. I like the bit where it says he is particularly hard working and good at bringing on the younger players.

So it would be an 'unproven' coach to some extent, but if he were to implement a number of the basic requirements of any NRL based team I am sure we would benefit enormously. Not sure where the free flowing attractive rugby comes in. Do any of the NRL watchers know if he encourages open play, or is he one of the 'hunt the error' coaches ?

Of all the reports I've read on Demetriou, Payne, Lam and Brennan, he is the one I'd want us to bring in. Hope there's legs in this rumour and not another of one RDs nailed on announcements.

Michael Mcguire, Adrian Lam, the Walker brothers, Laurie Daley, and Craig Fitzgibbon are all said to be the Front runners for the Gold Coast Titans head coach job.

while I cant Believe Laurie Daley is a front runner and nor would I want him at wire, why aren't we being linked with these names....? they all cant get the job.

no one is even hinting at Demetriou or Brennan being in with a sniff of the head coaches job at the Titans.

so it looks like we are looking at coaches at level below Laurie Daley......???

Also let's remember that although Brennan is not linked with a top job at a NRL club, neither was an assistant called Maguire until he proved his ability winning Super League with Wigan. The rest is history.
