his more professional attitude is welcomed for the game as a whole.
However I would guess it was His desire for the big name players that also had "troubled" past that caused his teams poor performances.
The games Justin Carney, Hock and Chase etc Missed due to unprofessional behaviour harmed them more than Koukash being a public speaker.

I haven't even had a crumb of a hint all season long of anything being a problem with the set up at Warrington.

My point that Koukash's many public statements did not help the team ( not attract any more fans, to that point ) stands. I'm sure that the two SMs do not want to lose any season ticket sales, but they are taking their time to do the right thing for the next few seasons, not simply snapping up any old coach or player who is available. Many on here praise ( rightly) Chris Chester, but he has not yet even completed one good season at Wakey. |

Some of the teams unexpectedly near the top of the league this season have been helped by the dire performances of the usually fancied contenders . Wigan & ourselves have been dire & Saints are finding their feet after half a season & i think the newly rejuvenated Huddersfield could cause chaos in the super 8s given half a chance. Some of these coaches of note could be busted flushes come October.

Since Agar took over at Leeds, Leeds have won 9 and lost 8 in SL
Over that time period, Wire have won 7 and lost 13 in SL
It would be hard to make an argument that Agar has had a better squad to work with at Leeds than we have here.
I wonder if its time to revise our theory on Agar being the root cause of our malaise.

If you're happy with Agar as your coach, that's fine with me. However, he wouldn't be the man I'd want to take over from Steve Price. |

As Head coach at Hull he lost more games than he won.. He never won a trophy
As Head coach at Wakey he lost more games than he won... He never won A trophy.
As Head coach of France he lost more games than he won... He never won a trophy....
I fancy his final record with Leeds will be similar... Despite Leeds being a stronger club with a shrewd CEO...
But I don't see Agar as top coach he never coached in the NRL despite goung over there to do that. he ended up doing some player recruitment role and soon came back...
Personally I think hes way too poor for Leeds but that suits me fine.

I think he'll end up winning more games than he loses at Leeds. Trophy...who knows.
Tony Smith's record at Huddersfield or Hull KR, or Brian McDermott's record at Harlequins and Toronto, aren't a good predictor of their records with Leeds.
He seems to be doing a decent job with the calibre of player available in Leeds at the moment.
