| Quote: Or thane "Talking of props, isn't Craig Kopczek off contract at Huddersfield. Good solid prop, 28yrs old 6'4 and 17st. Could do a decent job for us IF he is actually off contract? What do people think of him? I like him and I am praying to god there is a surprise prop in the works for 2016 or I'll be left scratching my head in disbelief
IMO he's average and is one of the aspects that's holding Hudds back from winning trophies and is why they're bringing in props for next season as their big signings.

| It seems we're not in the market for a prop after all.
Promoting within. I believe there'll be no change to the starting two of Hill and Sim but the interchange looks likely to be Westwood and Harrison/Philbin.
Hughes set to be a starting backrower, with the likes of Leithwaite and Wilde.

I think you'll find the highly rated James Maloney has the honour of most missed tackles ,I don't think we've signed Chris for his tackling ability

| the day we bring in a HB because 'he has oustanding defence' is the day we should give up and go home.

| Interesting that we are not confirming that Sandow is our Marquee signing ,I do feel the club have a big name possibly lined up

| Missed Tackle stats should be read with a huge portion of context.
Super League's 'worst' is Albert Kelly.
Also in the Top Ten are Tyrone McCarthy, Mike McIllorum and Elliot Whitehead.
Ben Westwood misses most tackles for us.

| Benny plays 80mins not 15 or 35mins.
In that context you point out, if he plays longer and makes mores tackles then his chances of missing more than our props also increases.
Then you need to consider fatigue when factoring percentage of missed tackles.
6% missed from an 80 mins stint maybe more credible than 2% missed off a 15 min stint.

Makes more sense as a percentage otherwise the harder the player works the more the missed tackle count will rise.
Sandow is still second in the NRL missed tackle count and that is on a low overall tackle stat. He hasn't adjusted his technique from the shoulder charge (which was a high risk anyway).

sounds very briers esque. Certainly in some of the highlights, his penchant for nicking interceptions makes you think he's of a similar mindset in defence.
Another thing, will we see an upturn in form for Asotasi? there was an article in the league express last week that he was singing his praises something rotten, will the arrival of his mate lead to a swansong? of which we'll all probably be quite bitter about, this late in the day?

Asotasi is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum. No doubt he has wanted to do well but he just hasn't.
We can all speculate why, he hasn't suffered from injuries from what I know so not sure why he fails to have an impact?

To much bike riding, he's our very own Chris Froome

Because he's a lazy, bone idle f##kwit
Hope that helps.

I apologise.
Sandow's high number of missed tackles is because he doesn't want to tackle.
