Don't get me wrong Duckie, I'm buzzing we won but we were no better as a team tonight than in some defeats this season. Just some individual moments of brilliance won us the game, rather than a good team performance with good set plays/good pitch direction/good defensive systems/good defence as a unit.

| Chuffed with the win but had chase and dobson been out there we'd have been in big trouble even without the injuries. As been mentioned the lack of cohesion was there for all to see. Won playing badly I suppose but we really need to start kicking on.

We did very well without Myler, Harrison and with Hill being off for a while. We managed to hang on in there which showed character!

We've missed Matty Russell's metres from deep this season. He'll take a good opposition kick from our own line to the 20-30m line a number of times a game and he plays the ball quickly.
That sort of thing is huge at the start of a set. Takes a load of pressure off.

Come on, duckie
I'm ALL for positive thinking, but, let's get real. If ANYONE is happy with tonight's display, you either
a) take your head out of the sand
b) take up another sport
c) spend any game time in Tesco's
We were gash, but I'm happy we won

| We played a much improved Salford team away that played thuggish like a Pies.
Yes we are poor but not poop.
We shown desire tonight which I've seen twice all season.
But like Sir A M said, R&B and we will roll it again.
We could do with a hitter of a prop though!

| Glad for the 2 points and we showed character in the face of injuries and dug in when it was needed.
A few good performances but only the Currie - Ormsby link really worked.
Good individual performances from Ratch and Dwyer (always thought he could play at this level),
Many ordinary performances but fundamentally not really gelling as a team.
What happened to dummy runners and passes out the back?
Salford looked to be on the front foot from 45-60 mins.
Guess Hilly will be lucky to play next week, It looked awful

| I would feel more comfortable if we had scored some tries on some structured set plays.
Seems the coaches are just being plain lucky as well:If Higham hadn't asked to leave and Myler hadn't got injured we wouldn't have had Bridge at HB, Currie in the centre and Dwyer at hooker.
Hardly a masterplan.
PS Henderson seems to have developed Dwyer massively.

| I enjoyed the game. I thought Salford played well and with some real intensity, it was a test which it took some winning, which we did comfortably in the end. We didn't play that well, and are a million miles from our , but there were some flashes of brilliance. I bet it was a good game for the neutrals.

| Yes, I agree about the HB situation, Patton, Myler and GOB are partial solutions and do not appear to be the long term answer. Plus I am surprised we are totally ineffective when attacking the opposition line. Do they actually practice attacking plays during training ? because I don't see anything.
What about the forward penetration ? ( sorry nurse). We only seem to have Hilly and the occasional sortie from Westwood. Even Asotasi is starting to look impressive. We desperately need some new, ugly, dirty, massive ogres in the front row.

| I'm glad we showed character against a team that wanted a battle... The last 2 teams that wanted a battle were Widnes where won won in the dying seconds, and Hull who we rolled over for..

| Typical Wire tonight. Some great stuff, particularly from Clark and Ratchford, but a team missing a proper halfback. You put an experienced 7 in that side and it would be hard to stop.
