As did ....
Neil "Crafty" Kenyon (whose smoking habit put Keith Richards to shame)
Kevin Meadows
Mateaki Mafi
The latter was (apparently) an Olympic Sprinter, in much the same way as I am George Clooney's stunt double.

I just never got it with Andy Currier.
He was the catalyst and goal kicker in the (NRL) Winfield Cup a couple of seasons before he joined us.
He just wouldn't have it. Its obvious from him being a Smelly, he hated being at Warrington.
Some fans give Big Roy a dig...
Some fans gave Steve Roach a dig...
...but these guys look to be pulverising stone into dust compared with Andy Currier.
A complete disgrace to P&B.

And yet, Manoa (and presumably Mrs Manoa) had sufficient ball-eye co-ordination to produce Jarryd Hayne. Yes, the Kangaroos international is Manoa's son.
Maybe we signed the wrong parent, we should have signed Jarryd's mum since he clearly didn't inherit his RL ability off his old fella.

62 (+1 sub) games, 12 tries. Not the greatest.

| I'm amazed Gaskell got 12 as he only ever ran sideways. Ooof Jason Roach - who brought that up? He'll give me nightmares....do i remember him scoring 4 in a game once though? Was it his debut in a pre-season friendly....that could all be very wrong but it rings a bell.
Monaghan and Hicks is a tough one, I'd plump for Joel (JUST!)

| roach was top try scorer in the league for the first half of 99, then he smacked chris smith of saints after he scored against us then wasn't really seen in the first team again.
Mind Fozzie, Toa and Hunty all had decent try returns that year.

| So many of the players being mentioned were part of that 80-0 debacle including Currier, Roach and Thompson.

| Anyone remember the Henari try at Wilderspool when Scully broke from the scrum and ran into the ref on purpose and put henari through the gap that was left. May have been a bit different to my memory but what a try! against St Helens as well i think?

I was there too, it was like he ran straight through the scrum? Or was that another one?

| It was a blindside drop-off from the scrum. Scully breaking blind created a 2v1 and Henare just went through the gap.

| But am i right in saying that Scully actually moved the ref from the side of the scrum and Henari went through the gap created?
