You couldn't be more wrong. Padders can only be Chris Bridge.

| Spot on about Asotasi - he hasn't really bought in to the Wire has he ?
Acknowledge the crowd then go and catch up with your mates
2nd gear performance last night - could (should) have put 50 on a very poor Salford outfit.
Big test this week between 2 teams trying to find form

| We seemed to be making plenty of gaps last night near the line but instead of somebody maybe throwing a dummy & going for the line the team were happy to pass the ball from one touchline to the other . I am sure a bit more work in that area will produce results as the team continues to gel in its 2014 form.

| Quote: rubber duckie "Wire fans singin a song I dunno words to.
Sounds like the big ship saiks on the ally ally o.
Ratchford kicks 24 _ 4'"
It's an old nursery rhyme which kids used to use as a skipping song - when kids still played skipping. I think I last heard it in the playing ground at St Oswald's in about 1948. The "ally ally oh" is the Manchester Ship Canal which runs past Salford's ground
The big ship sails on the ally-ally-oh
The ally-ally-oh, the ally-ally-oh
Oh, the big ship sails on the ally-ally-oh
On the last day of September.
The third verse is probably what was intended for Salford
The big ship sank to the bottom of the sea
The bottom of the sea, the bottom of the sea
The big ship sank to the bottom of the sea
On the last day of September.

| Well I know that nursery rhyme.
It wasn't that one, just sounded like it.

| Johnson is another player from the lower leagues, who is proving his worth in super league.

| Huge improvement on Sunday and the line speed was looking much better along with the PTB.
Good following although we have taken more in previous years and I really don't understand what the bog roll is all about. I left work and got the train through to Irlam, had a couple of beers then jumped in a taxi and sailed straight through to the stadium without stopping once. Got a lift back and it only took a few minutes to get off. I have been to that stadium six times and always felt the traffic issues are massively over exaggerated!
Stadium has improved loads since my last visit for the World Cup warm up. Well impressed with the hogie wagons etc outside (Simon Moran looked to be enjoying his pie and peas) and the bar was great. I have been saying for years that we need something like it at the HJ, easy to maintain and it improves the fan experience no end!

We seem to be starting to click, no where near the dizzy heights of 2011 but a clear improvement.

The free live music in the Bar was very good. The Bar was packed with people buying drinks so any entertainment could be self financing. The only area we could use at the HJ is the Bar at the very back of the East which is currently used for Corporate meals. The Hogie Wagons outside (but on stadium land) sold food that looked of a good quality.

Widnes, Langtree, LSV and the stoop are all great examples of modern grounds which have vibrant bars for supporters. If memory serves the club owns the land to the rear of the south stand, or it could feature as part of any redevelopment. I would love to have somewhere to go afterwards with a band and presentations etc. Gillingham was rocking after our game down there during the summer! (Beer goggles could be partly to do with that).
Could also open for sky games as other than the Connie Club and Baffitos (which I am going right off) there is nowhere else with sky in town that I would want to drink in.

| Did Morley gesture back to the wire fans when we sang "Morley is a Wire"?

| He did. I noticed that.
He's a Salford lad but he's a wire deep down. Same with Briers, saints lad who will always have Wire in him.
