Sullivan and Monaghan were both really hookers, that were tried as halfback and then moved back to hooker where they were better.
Sullivan was an interchange hooker at Cronulla, he was signed as a halfback as our third choice to replace Nat Wood, after Matt Orford and Michael Monaghan turned us down. He was no good as a halfback, so we went back to playing him as interchange hooker, with limited success.
Michael Monaghan was a hooker at Manly (Orford was the halfback). We signed him as a halfback, he was so-so, and then went back to playing him as hooker when he became one of the best players if not the best for a while, in SL.
