I'm quite amazed by how much people care about what others are wearing. One of the things I loved about the town was how much people put everything else aside when getting behind the team - I got plenty of abuse normally but with one of my Warrington shirts on it stopped completely, even if the rest of my clothes were still the same.

I'm taking a guess here, but I'm assuming you're a metalhead if that's the case. If so then you are exempt in my opinion (speaking as an alternative music fan myself) because dressing according to personal influences and interests is not the same as dressing like a tramp.
Wearing Dunlop trackies is dressing like a tramp.

I am but I don't dress like that any more, even that was too much bother about the right clothes. Now I just wear whatever, jeans and t-shirt, as long as I don't look stupid it's fine. I have no problem with people taking care of their appearance (and I can't stand the stereotype that men are supposed to not care), it's just the branding I don't get. *shrug* |
