Not a Myler fan to be honest but I thought he had a decent game tonight .....

He's not a weak link in defence which isnt bad going for a small young half back...

oh and remember when People used to compare Who was the better half back Myler or Tomkins...........

Well there is key skill required for a half back and its knowing when to pass to a man in support or to a man outside his opposite defender., or when to keep hold of the ball

which one did that better tonight.............

Sam Tomkins is the best Broken field runner in the game but he isnt comfortable under the high ball, and his decision making is piddle poor and his kicking game is hopeless........maybe if Myler had been mostly Shit but ALMOST scored a try of the Season he'd be being raved about.....??

only Bridge was poor for me tonight.

Whilst Tomkins is a frightening prospect, ball in hand, I just don't see him as a 'team player'.

One slight aside, a HUGE loss for Wigan this season, is that 2nd rower, Hoffman (iirc, his name). Hansen and Hock aren't even close.

he took a couple of heavy knocks...looked like he was carrying a hand or arm injury...and he got a bad bang to the head...surprised he came back on.

We have played Leeds away, Wigan away, Huddersfield away, Bradford away and Hull away....that's a tough start to any ones season...we should be very very happy we sit top of the league after that lot whilst not playing that well.

Did he take an early knock? I think the physio wanted to bring him off but he refused, and stayed on, on to be interchanged about ten minutes later. I may be corrected.

Wigan blew that game big time for me, they( and the ref) hammered us for the majority of the game but Wigans negative tactics kept us in it. They looked dangerous and could have easily scored trys instead of kicking penalties. Though Tomkins was awesome today just needs learn to pass the ball. Thought Blythe had a great game for us aswell tonight.

Underated IMHO. Came up with a couple of errors tonight, not his best game, but did make a good break.

For me the game breaker was the Briers intecerption. We would not have won without that. MOM for just doing that.

Atkins got Sky's MoM which i didn't quite understand as he was fairly quiet.

Did anyone watch the Super League extra time programme? Was Tony as uncomfortable talking to Eddie as he was when we played Leeds?

I'm one of his biggest fans,a dn he is my son's favourite player, but MOM no. He did catch Sam, and score our first try but MOM? I'm not saying he played badly, I just think there were plenty better than him.
