Utter comtempt from the giants fans.
Everyone knows in sport hate and bitterness is a sign of respect. Why do you think the most sucessful teams are, generally, the most hated?
You didn't eaxctly see ''well done wigan'' banners when they were winning their umpteenth CC on the trot did?
That gesture from the giants fans is almost like they're saying ''you're not a team we are threatened by, but every dog has it's day so well done''.
Friendly rivalry is better.
You'll be hugging and kissing next, and going along to each others games to support each other.

not till you've won the GF ....which i am pretty sure you will this year.
As for the flag business i dont think people quite understand why it was done to you lot....there is a mutual respect between the 2 sets of fans and has been for a while now, most Giants fans consider Wire their favourite away trip due to the ease of getting there ( they must have forgot this week) and the great banter and welcome we always get off you lot inside and outside the ground.
I have never seen any animosity between our fans and every game is always met with congratulations from the others after....that is why we did it.....becasue of our friendship and respect towards your club and your fans.
people think we did it to be grease asses or to earn brownie points but we wouldnt have done it for any other team !!.
